Well the civic is painted and the engine is in and now ive ran into a problem there are 2 plugs that dont plug up Ihave the engine wiring harness and the ecu the ecu plugs right up but the engine wiring harness will not plug up to 1 plug on each side of the engine bay its pissing me off becuase i cant find a wiring diagrahm anywhere to figure out wtf they are any ideas ill get some pics of the plugs tommorrow morning and post them up

im pretty sure you need to "de-pin" those connectors with a safety pin, or a pin extractor if youre a baller, and plug the pins into the appropriate connectors that will fit. BTW, i dont have any diagrams on what needs to be repinned for your swap. i just know that when i have helped some friends with their swaps that repinning ---- was necessary. you need to lookup the wiring diagrams, or get lucky by having somebody here tell you what to repin.

then again i know that sometimes connectors are not used and people just let them hang in the engine bay(i personally have a few of those).

 

i take it this is an B18a motor. you need to use the harness that came with the car and need to splice a few connections.

 

onyx saved my *** a few times on my swap, I had some wiring issues. I wish I could help you, I'm just not sure about some of that stuff.

 

Well does anybody happen to have a 1.5 liter dpfi wiring harness around for cheap

Yeah i have the chiltons for both sittin right here and i just called redline performance in arlington and they said i need a 1.5 wiring harness cuz the guy who traded me for my old civic lied to me and told me it was the 1.5 harness from his rex already wired for mpfi that ------ bastard id love to drive to san antonio and kill peeps
