Biggest difference is OBD0 90-91 ignition timing versus OBD1 92-00 ignition timing. That, and the extra 400 rpms revlimit, is where the extra "hp" comes from. You can compare "bigger" -B intake manis and intake cams and nonsense all day long, but 90-91 = 130, 92-93 = 140, 94+ = 142.

It's in the ECU...

We can so lets. That extra rpm is also a result to the larger tb and slightly larger plenum.60mm for the b18a1 62mm for the b18b1. Im only guessing on this but it makes sense to me

But the b18a1 90-91 also shares the same mani/tb has the 92-93 b18a1 so that kinda disproves me own thought. Only difference I have found in the 2 is the casting in the 92 seems cleaner than the old pr4 manifolds and the short base iacv on the 92-93 manifolds but once again this is just rambiling

90-91 are "small port" heads, but that means absolutely nothing. Look at LS vs VTEC performance in equivalent NA cars up until 180+ whp... LS owns. Listen to mototune guy, smaller ports can be a good thing. *cough* SR20DET *cough*

I agree hence why I have always been such a fan of the d16 all motor builds. Jeffy finally shipped my p29's so I should have my old build back up and runnin with my old head/cam combo. Zc/si trans too from the old hybrids.jp honda challange car when Shaun K still owned it.

Ah.

I have a few ZC/Si trans laying about. Awesome things for D-series, the turbo car is getting one!

ok now does the 92-93 b18a integs use the obd1 ecus?? if they do are all the sensors the same as the 90-91 tegs with the b18a?? im sure the plugs are different but the obd1 is much more tunable isnt it. does any one know anything about the edlebrock victor x turbo setup-------ist it worth it------just wondering cuz i get a hell of a deal on them.

88-91 Civic/Integra OBD0, 92-95 Civic/Integra OBD1

There is a difference between OBD0 and OBD1 distributors, 16 vs 24 tooth CKP sensor, that makes them incompatible.

Asking about kits on HOMEMADETURBO is a good way to get fucked in the ***, n00b. We are men, not consumers.

PS - I don't think anyone mentioned 90-91 small spline/92+ big spline transmission input shaft differences. You need the correct year PP, disc, and flywheel depending on which trans you run.

over priced kit. Clean but thats not hmt. Most people here spend money on welders, drill presses, chop saws to build there own kits. We also use jb weld alot like golden eagle sleeved blocks LOL

I understand the turbo thing but there isnt that many tuners around her so i am kinda on my own with buiding a turbo set-up---trust me i would much rather build my own but have never really messed with any boosted cars and this is my daily driver. I have a 85 mr2 but i really dont know how i would boost that b/c there is like an inch and a half between the exhaust manifold and the firewall. I dont know what you know about 1g mr2s but would the turbo work sitting of to the side??
