Get a pickle fork and drive it in a little, and then try to take the nut off. It might work.

A pickle fork comes in handy. Dont buy one from harbor freight or that style store those ones suck. You need a heavy duty one hit up your local old man tool store they will have the goods. Take some beatings to it will break. I think I have told you this before but I will say it again these cars are old. Before you plan on working on them if you can soak areas where you know problems like this willl occur with lube up the *** 2+ days in advance if can. Also this is key when you remove the exhaust manifold I dont know how many damn studs I have had to drill out from people breaking bolts in the head and if the easy out breaks in there its impossible to get out. Keep working with it man . I had a hard time to before when I first started difference was I didnt have the joys of internet forums so I resorted to throwing tools and kicking the family cat.
