I am guessing it's a short somewhere so check all your wiring. The same kind of problem happened to me once. I drove my truck to the gas station and I shut it off. When I tried to start it again I got a clicking noise. The problem ended up being my battery cable got melted onto my frame because of an exhaust leak causing my truck to short out. I bought a new battery cable and re-routed the cable so it wouldn't get melted and it runs fine.

That happended on my girlfriends truck twice. Car started fine, then when she got back in it, wouldn't start. A clicking noise kept coming from the dash. Turned out to be a bad cable on the battery, then later it happended again and turned out to be a bad battery.

I put in another coil and it still doesn't start, keep getting the clicking.

when you guys had the clicking did the starter still work? my starter spins that fucker like a champ, it just doesn't start. I'm going to the cheap battery place tomarrow to see how much for a sealed battery since I've already had one acid spill in the hatch (I still haven't cleaned that one up, whoops)

also, I'm beginning to think that the wire going to the fuses from my distribution block might be causing a problem, I'll check it out tomarrow when ther's light.

I got a multimeter on my injector wiring and it was reading .19 volts, is that healthy?

does the starter signal run through the ecu at all? or is it just from the key to the starter?

does your lights on your dash really dim? I bet its the abttery, take it to an autozone or where ever and theyll recharge it for free.

on the dash all the red lights are as bright as usual, but the yellow check engine light flashs dimly. Do you really think it could be the battery with my starter working so well?

Re:B16 swap in, and it ran (past tense)

alright. so the first thing to do tomarrow morning is to check my distribution block connection. second thing is to go to the battery place and see how much sealed batteries are, and if they're too much I'll go to autozone and see what they can do for me.

this thing is making me hurt inside, I need to drive my car. and get some air fresheners, it stinks in there.

Did you try to push start the car I will bet you it starts . With all this attempting in starting your car have you been charging the battery. Costant cranking of a motor will kill a battery fast.

I don't see what push starting would do that cranking it wouldn't accomplish, but I'll try it anyways. even after all this cranking it still cranks like a champ, I keep doubting that it's the battery, but until tomarrow I won't be able to say that it isn't a possibility.
