Re:B16 owners what did you spend on the swap
I just did my swap.. all in all I spent about $2,500 on EVERYTHING. This is what I bought :
-B16a
-YS-1 Cable "LSD" Trans
-PR3 ECU
-SPEC racing 4 puck clutch , pressure plate
-ACT 8.8lb Flywheel
-Place racing shift linkage
-Place racing motor mount kit
-MSD coil and Cap
-Moroso 8.5mm wires ( hey MSD's weren't in stock )
Thats everything of course little expenses here and there for other parts I replaced before the motor went in .. i.e. timming belt , water pump , valve cover gasket , plus a few sensors. The motor , lsd trans ,and ECU was about $1,300 from the local JDM importer in my area.

Re:B16 owners what did you spend on the swap
you really have to plan ahead and do research therefore you wont waste time and money. I bought motors from Hmotorsonline. and they was being an ***. Bought a motor that is a lemon. Tranny had problems, blown head gasket. So i spent like $3800 total for a rebuilt tranny and replaced the head gasket, resurface the head. I would just bought a Type R motor with that amount. So do a research before attempting to do a swap.
