Just buy the mount for the swap. I think I got mine from www.jdmshit.com or something. Makes life 100 times easier. Also to get the key out, just unplug a blue box relay looking thing underneath the dash on the driver side. It might be on the kick panel. It is just somewhere under the dash and it is blue. Unplug that and that will let you remove the key.

As far as the pedal. Just get the manual pedal you will thank yourself later when you go for the clutch pedal and push both in and the car behind you runs into you.

I couldn't find the mount on that website I posted. Best bet is to call them. It makes the install a lot cleaner.

So here it is. The mount you need.

only reason i suggest moving over the mount location its self is for future ----. putting any 5spd motor in will be cake... future swap possibilities will be posibble... h swap, k swap, b swap, back to d swap. it would be like having a proper 5spd chassis instead of a mount for a motor to fit.

Nice thread. This will help me out quite a bit later this year... I'm just gonna boost my auto and run it till it dies. Hoping it will last till late fall since I store the car over the winter I plan on doing the swap then.
