Yea ****'s write up on D-series is what I used for reference when I did mine two years ago.

Fifth gen has the bracket welded into the chassis :1
It's really ------- annoying when you are looking around U-pull-it for the one you need and can't find any 6th gen chassis.

 

i had a pretty good write up that i did on hondaswap, but i think it had too much tech so when they upgraded the site they had to take it down

 

you can buy the mount from majestichonda.com. Do the welder return thing, and bam, you have it done the right way for around 25 bucks.

Don't spend $130 on a conversion mount. I only paid $150 for my harbor freight flux core.

When I did my auto to manual conversion, I drilled the spot welds on the auto mount. Then I took the grinder to it to make it come straight off the frame instead of angling up. Then welded it back on. It was easy, and the only money I spent was on a welder that has proved useful on other projects.
