ok there are the little pr3 prints on the rods, which way do they face, the machine shop called and they need to know which way ?? towards the tranny or the crank pulley

 

the bearing divot should face toward the exhaust.

 

cool so divot towards exhaust manifold ?

 

to verify, the connecting rod oil jet (hole on side of rod above rod bolts) faces the intake manifold.

 

right on! just finished putting mine together today(project overkill) I would withdraw all my parts and work from a machine shop that did not know that. thats unprofessional, and incompetence. they should research that independently, or have manuals to help.
