Default ARP studs in LS help

i got some ARP studs im about to install, currently taking the head off, anyone know a good amount to torque them too? i've read anything from 65-85 ft-lbs so i was go go for 70ish

i think my box was missing instructions, or maybe they jsut figure you know... also what do you gyus do for putting the studs in the block, hand tight snug with a allen wrench or what?

I sprayed in wd40, used the required thread seal and torqued em to 80ft pounds
works like a charm for around 20k so far

got these in but im not very confident in how they went in, i was watching the stud carefully in between turns when i was doing the final torque down and i seen a few of the studs turn a little

think next time i would put thread lock on the end going into the block and let it sit over night, or try the ball bearing in the block hole trick

having to go buy a 12pt 1/2" deep socket was pretty inconvenient, who uses 12 point nuts anyways?

why grip 6 places when you can grip 12?

don't worry about the studs, the stud kits works differently than the bolts, the stock bolts, when you tighten them, they exert a downward pressure on the head to keep it tight, but with the studs, since they are just threaded into the block, when the nut is tightened not only is there a downward pressure on the head, but since you are tightening the nut, it pulls up on the stud, stretching it, this stretching exerts a pre load on the bolts which keeps them very tight for extended periods of time.
