Default aliment problems

well i took my car to the shop to get alined and the guy puts here up on the machine works on here about 10 mins and tells me that no madder what he does my aline ment is going to be screwed up because my car has two bad upper balljoints and a bad wheel bearing suspension being one of the few thangs i don't know much about on a car i was wondering if he was tryin to get over on me or tellin me the truth

well if parts are worn or parts need to be replaced(what you already said) your not gonna be able to get an accurate reading. i mean he could have gotten it as close as he could, but in the long run it will still be messed up.
its like goin to get new rotors on your car, when the guy tells you your brake pads need to be changed too. you cant expect to have one part fixed and have it run properly.. get what i'm sayin.

yea, no matter what y9ou do, they will not adjust the alignment if you have warn upper ball joints, it makes a very little difference on the toe setting, but they will wont touch it. they won't touch it with a bad wheel bearing either.

your best bet is to just change out all three of those things, and then take if back. if they give you any trouble, ---- out of there and do your own alignment in your driveway.

ya i went ahead and orered new upper ball joints so that taken car of so who can hook me up with a DIY guide to doing an alinement

im a align tech myself, and he whould be robbing you if he did the align without u getting those parts repalced, cuase u cant really align a car thats fucked like that and expect it not to ware out ur tire
