A6/Z6 Mini-me parts list.
I just need to know what else I need as far as parts go. I've read a TON of write-ups and searched through tons of questions but everyone's answer is different.
Z6 head, Z6 valve cover, Z6 timing belt, Z6 intake manifold gasket, Z6 exhaust manifold gasket, Y8 head gasket, Z6 ARP head studs, Z6 vtec solenoid . Please, if I'm missing anything tell me, I'm picking up most of the parts the early part of this week.
Also, if I want to run the stock ECU (PM6) w/ TurboEDIT 1 wire vtec, which dizzy will be the easiest to use that will require the least modification? What modification has to be done to it?
Any other comments about this(other than "don't do it") are greatly appreciated.

theres more than one way to eat a reeses and theres more than one way to do this too
best way is probably a P28 and OBD1 which is what i will be doing on my Z6 swap
you can run the A6 distributor but it doesnt line up so youll have to hack it on there with washers or something and then you can run an rpm switch or even a toggle switch to run vtec
i think if you want to stay OBD0 and run 1 wire vtec the A6 dist will work but then you have the bolting up issue
fwiw the A6 dist will bolt right up in the Y8 head
if you have anymore questions post up and ill try to answer them i have about 6-8 hours of research into this ofer the past few days so it is all very fresh
