so i recently picked up this d16z6 block with pistons and rods and a d16z6 head. but i want to run my a6 head. less work. less money spent. i was wondering if i can put a a6 non vtec head on my z6 block?

there is an oil jet in the a6 block.

 

sorry, run the timing belt that matches the head. so if you ran an a6 head run that t belt

 

so i have to remove the oil jet from the a6 block and install it into my z6 block and then use a a6 timing belt?

 

Stop being a :1 and just run the freshly redone head you got with the block and convert your ---- to OBD1 I know you can find the dizzy you need and a conversion harness for a reasonable amount, just lay off the McDonald's for a couple days :P
