I haven't done a mini with A1 psitons before, but my A6/Z6 block/head motor ran ~145hp with ALL my mods, the motor alone was only ~125-130ish.
With those pistons in there..I could easy it easily pulling high 150s with good mods.

Well guys iam gonna try to put the engine togther with a1 pistons.My goal is to have around 180whp The list of stuff iam getting to run this **** is:
-Already port and polished my head
-A1 pistons and rods (maybe ill go with eagle rods but my budget sucks
- Knife edged/balanced crank that i got off ebay for 200
-KMS BlockGuard
-DC 4-1 header
-Hayamusa universal muffler no cat custom exhaust
-KMS racing valves
-KMS racing vlavespring and retainer kit
-Skunk 2 cam gear
-ARP head Studs
-Venom fuel rail
-320cc injectors
-used BBK throttle body
-MSD turbo fuel pump
-Act stage 2 clutch
-Act streetlite 11.9 flywheel (or should i go with 8.4lb?)
-MSD ignition
- Iam gonna get probably APEX'i SAFC for mangemanet
-Probably a camshaft but that will come after the engine is done cause i wanna see how it will behave with the stock one. Also for the people who have y8 are your camshafts ALL black?
-probably more but i dont have a great budget so i gotta be economic for right now
also if you have any suggestions or questions please let me know thanks.

well thats my goal i tprobably wont happen but in that range it would be nice. theres the d16 160whp motor on ebay and the block isnt even that built. I dunno do you think its to much for all motor?

lol, thats a ripoff.
curious how B-series 81mm pistons get fitted on stock sleeves?
My block was .20 over and I used 77mm pistons, and that is pretty much the maxium you can even go.
for that amount of money a B-series swap would walk all over that.

My buddy is going for the "first in Kansas City" 13 second daily driven SOHC. It's OK, I'll beat him with the first 12 second daily driven SOHC. Muahahah.
