better luck then me. I was driving normally, nothing fancy or quick when a casual shift from 2nd to 3rd broke my shifter lever in half! Found out previous owner cut and welded it to make a bogus short shifter! Went to the local performance shop, got a solo short shifter and energy susp shifter bushin kit for 110$ Total, Canadian dollars, so thats like what.. 5 bucks US.. lol, like 65$ US.
