Default 93 civic hb mini me

Sorry guys, i know this is mostly forced induction, but you guys know your ----, and no one else really knows.

A friend of mine has a 93 civic cx. Its like the hf of the crx, slow as *****. Well, i heard about swapping a vtec head on hf, but that you cant do it because of there only being to valve releifs on the pistons. But i also heard the cx had 4 valve reliefs on the pistons. Would a mini me be possible with a cx. If so, what else would i need to do besides just swap the head. I know how to do it on my crx si, but no on a cx. Any info is appreciated, thanx.

I think it can be done.. the B8's have 4 valve reliefs per piston so you would be ok their, As far as engine managment, I would try to get a P28 ecu, and run whatever wires you need to do for vtec activation.

The basic engine harness will work just fine, just use a D16z6 intake manifold as well.

Timing belt, is kinda odd.. people are saying some stock belts are working, and some are not. I would try the stock one, and spin it over by hand to see if everything looks ok, if not, get the VX timing belt, thats what I normally use on D15b2's

So i would just need a p28 ecu and a z6 head. Will the stock dizzy work with the z6. Oh yeah, intake manifold too. How much hp should this combo get?

Either dizzy will work, I think the b8 dizzy wont mount correctly to the z6 head, you will have to modify it to fit right, its not that big of a deal, you can run 1/3 dizzy bolts, I have done it tons of times.

How much HP? probably pretty close to a Z6.. give or take 5-10hp
