dont connect egr just plug vacuum port keep auto manifold not gonna really make a difference. Egr is only found on auto b18a1 no biggie


dashpot belongs in the trash

update*

it runs! did what you nigs said and presto she started once i popped the dizzy in. getting code 17 which im told is VSS? im guessing its because i didnt loop the lines coming off the vss... ill try that and see whats up. didnt know you could get a code for vss on a car with a mechanical vss. also could i have an auto pr4? is an obd0 pr4-something-A02 thought it ending with A02 would make it 5spd?

A in the last three digit code means America. C for Canada, J for Japan, and if it's a number it is called a "world part."

The VSS on the ED chassis is the backside of the instrument cluster, and is driven by the speedo cable. If you have a working speedo you should get no CEL 17.

word code 17 no speedo hooked up


a52 is an auto pr4 ecu. It can be chipped also running 2 guys around my way with mighty all motor zc's with turboedit codeage

yeah well the speedo worked when i drove the car into the garage so i never unhooked it. could i have possibly put the cable in the vss wrong? so a52 is auto, A02? hoping for 5spd. btw i know its chippable, thats coming next!

More than likely the cable probably popped out of the vss...they're supposed to have a clip on them to hold the cable in place, but most times they get lost. I just zip tie mine down tight.

only auto ecu I have seen was the a52 chipped it like any other obdo non vtec ecu

yeah just dont want a check light for auto tranny, heard that you cant convert obd0 ecus from auto to 5spd

I was reppin a chipped auto pr4 in my crx for like 3 years back in the day running a techtom all motor proggie done by one of the og ecu dudes
