werd, i just found it myself and was about to post it up, i had no idea it was that simple
replace rp18 with a jumper wire? What does that mean?
P.S. I found my auto to manual pedal swap at the yard today. I got all pedals and the cluch master cylinder for $9!!! (yeah me)

I'm guessing RP18 has two points(one for each side of whatever electical device was there)so you would replace the part with a straight wire(a jumper).

this picture is from a manual tranny, so it's already configured correctly, but an auto tranny will have a jumper on rp17 instead of rp18, so just remove the jumper from rp17, desolder rp18 and solder in a jumper wire, i did one last night, took 1.2 minutes 




(basically just "jumping" a connection that was previously there?)
I need experienced help, noob.
