I have an 89 golf completely stock. It has a 1.6l carbed 4 banger. It has around 110000 miles on it. Well the problem is when I turn the car off after driving it it putters and jumps like it wants to start back up. I have to switch between neutral and park and drive to get it to stop jumping and putterin like a crack head with a really bad cough. what do you guys think wrong??

 

i remember i used to see that ---- all the time back in the day when i used to live in some ghetto *** neiborhood. It's called dieseling and your carb is letting extra fuel and air through to allow after you kill the car it literally sounds like it's on it's last leg to plead mercy .

 

i thought the 1.6 is a diesel
