hey wats up guys, i just puty on my turbo/manifold/wastegate/dp on today ( no charge pipes yet).

the problem is, when i rev the motor, the wastegate leaks exaustand makes a rattling sound. i took it off the manifold and it the little thing inside shakes back and forth. (its a used s&s autochrome) tial knockoff.

has anyone else had this problem before or have any ideas what to do?

throw that ---- away I dont care if its a working wastegate or not those things are junk. thats a very important part of your turbo kit so you dont want to cheap out.

I bought that one by accident because i was in a hurry to finish my manifold cause i got a deal on the coating but i contacted them right away and they took it back surprisingly. I thought i was gonna get screwed cause they have a lot of bad feedback. And i compared it to my Tial that i just got and they are very close looks wise but the rest you can tell.

If you bought it from them i would see if they will swap it out or take it back.

He said he bought it used though. I doubt they will take it back now. But I have read that Tial wg parts are interchangeable with these S&S wastegates. You could either rebuild it using Tial parts, or get another wastegate.

OMG I had no idea they also made WG's. The world is fucked......I can see it now. SSautoChrome manifold that cracks in half, SSautoChrome downpipe that falls off, SSautoChrome turbo that freezes up and spews oil everywhere, SSautoChrome wastegate that spikes boost from 10psi to 25psi. Very nice.

Whats moving around? got some pics? Those wastegates are suppose to be pretty nice. As said they are rip off tials and can use tial parts if needed.

Btw, dont drive without charge pipes you can over rev your turbo.
