Back when i first got my car.. it wouldnt rev past 3k rpm. Its fixed now... I took it to honda and they said they wouldnt touch it w/o removing ignition box. new dist later and it works fine.

My question is this... here's the explaination...

back in sept 2001 i dropped my car off at my uncles body shop. Upon pick up in apr 2002 the car would not rev past 3k. I drove it home, 500km at exactly 100km/h. 3k in 5th = 100km. Anyways, When i got home i took it to the local honda dealer. They replaced the dist (completely) and removed the ignition box.

Has anyone had this happen?? was it the ignition box or the dist or both? The box is a Crane HI-6 w/ external coil. I still have the box. Just want to know if its still good because I could sell it to some1 here or trade it.
