Wouldn't really have anything to do with it not firing. The plugs would still fire, and it would run, just not well because you would have pretty much no compression. But judging by his parts list i'd say he'd notice whether the valves were torched or not.

Sounds ignition related to me. Try a different distributer, new plug wires, and plugs.

I put on a new dizzy and it fixed it!! Runs awesome. Thanks guys.

had same problem on gfs ls, check the cap, if there is any burnt marks then repklace it, it all started with hers when she washed the egngine and water got in the dizzy, has it rained?
