1993 honda accord tranny ?
My friend has this 93 accord its a automatic.
Well to begin with when you first start the car
the tranny shifts fine and through the gears.
After about 5-10 sometimes less it will slip than stall.
The d4 light does not blink and the check engine does not come on.
We tested every sensor and ohmed the solenoids.Every thing checks out.
When you turn the car off and you turn it back on in one min., it drives.
It's like its losing pressure. That's one thing we have not checked. It just seems
like if the valve body was stuck open, it would throw a code.
Any feed back is appreciated.

It's full.It still does it.I swapped tcm with a well known good one and nothing.
I think the tranny is shot.Only thing is the fluid is still red.Not a hint of burnt smell.
I thought if auto trannys go out, they won't move at all.

Re: 1993 honda accord tranny ?
No slipping at start up and 5 mins. of driving.I think i found the problem.
Somebody changed the main fuel relay. The d4 light never blinked until i plugged the
old relay that came on the car back in.Now as soon as you turn the key on it blinks.(Not running)
I pulled the code 7-8-14-1-2..It says every sensor is bad.So i'm thinking bad tcm/wiring.
The check engine light does not blink when i jump the connector, only the d4 light.
when the trans finally starts slipping you turn the car off wait 5 -10 secs you hear a clunk/loud click
then you start it,it runs fine again. If you don't wait for the sound, then it will keep slipping going no where.

Re: 1993 honda accord tranny ?
So only your "S" light is blinking when you jump the connector? That's where you got those codes from?
These are transmission codes.
1-Lock-up solenoid 'A' circuit open or shorted.
2-Lock-up solenoid 'B' circuit open or shorted.
7-Shift Solenoid 'A' circuit open or shorted.
8-Shift Solenoid 'B' circuit open or shorted.
14-Linear (line pressure control) solenoid open or shorted.
Sounds to me like your solenoids/solenoid wiring is fucked up.
