is a 1985 1.8l 12v SOHC CVCC engine interference??
i'm pretty sure it is but i want to be certain, if you cant swear on your mothers name that your answer is right i dont want it

 

I have no clue if its an interference engine or not, BUT I do know CVCC engines make for the best smoke machines.
Fill you washer reservoir with diesel fuel and run the tube down the throat of the carb. Get the revs up, hit the washers and enjoy the biggest smoke screen ever! hahaha
The shrouded 'mini' chamber that surrounds the spark plug on CVCC engines pretty much keeps it from getting fouled during smoke screenage. Makes for fun times on the freeway and drive thru's.

I know they use a iron block.........the engine bay is so cramped, 10 million vacuum lines...........I sent mide to the junkyard rather than work on it!

 

well i wont be making any smoke screens, the t-belt broke and i wanted to know if i could just throw a new belt on or throw a match at the car

 

im pretty sure it isnt interferance the valves are almost flat with the piston and they dont open that much anyway so it shouldnt cause any problems
