How is this their problem? They are American citizens and so are their kids, so it's OUR problem? Just because they speak another language doesn't mean they aren't part of our society... Oh wait, are you racist?

Also, I'm sure you remember going to school. Was there any other way that progress was given to the parents? Parent-teacher meetings! Grades only tell you so much; they have no report on how well they interact, how well they grasp new concepts, how well they do many things that I don't even care to list. So, unless you want them to type in English on Babelfish in real time, they might have a real grievance.

No it's not our problem. Like countless people have already said in this thread. Becoming a legal citizen requires more than signing a few papers and coming into our country only to bust your *** for minimum wage at a local construction company. How about they start with learning the goddamn language? I think if I was moving to another country, I would take classes to learn the language rather than going into the country not knowing a goddamn word (just ask Frank). Oh wait, they don't need to learn the language coming into our country. Over half the ------- population already speaks THEIR language...So yes, it is thier problem fuckface.

Ok, in order to get into the American school system you need proof of citizenship, therefore are equal to anyone else. You're telling me that is it not our problem that these citizens are having problems just because they speak another language? 43% of the people possibily having the problem is nothing we should care about because they don't speak the same language as us?

---- that ----, whenever someone says they don't want illegal aliens in our country you get called a racist, if you say you don't like eubonics you get called a racist, I"m not a racist and have a few foriegn friends and guess what they speak english and thats the way it should be. Is'nt that part of the test to become a citizen is knowing atlest basic english. Why should I have to pay for someone to live in a country their not even supposed to be in, why won't they just do it the proper way and not worry about being deported, because the dumb *** law makers are making it easier and easier each day for them to jump the border and get jobs and turn this country into mexico number 2. before you want to call me a racist or anything like that I had a good friend from nicaragua who was in this country legally, she was one of the greatest people I've ever met and her family was great too, although they had trouble with english they still tried and were able to communicate, I had no problem with them since they came to this country the right way. If you move here legally I think its great but if not get out.
