people said we went to war to stop people who did ---- like what happen to us in 911. We claim war in iraq because there was threats of nukes in saddams possesion. Well we got him out of power and still havn't found any nukes as of yet. Whats the ------- point of our soldiers dying each day after we completed our mission. To teach the people there the ways of our government? They dont have a leader now and let them make their own minds on what they think is best for them. I think it bullshit how we think our ways are the best and we have to go and force our morals on other nations. The reason we came to america was for freedom of englands ways and make our own beliefs in this country. I quarentee the founding fathers veiw on how america is betraying their constitution is not in some ways how they wanted it. Im all about fighting for 911 and stopping people like saddam but there is no need for us to be there right now and i think honestly this is bushs vietnam. I know whats going on im in school learning this ----. My views are diffrent than yours not everyone going to think like you.

Does that sound fair? If there is factual evidence, yes in a civilized society, no. There's checks and balances and I would not be pissed about much in regards to the war in Iraq or on terror if Bush and Cheney could have gotten International support.

Since they didn't, the blood is on our hands and the yolk is on our face and rather than being, as Steahmode says we're a bunch of clowns and nothing more...

you mean a speacialist not a 2LT. you have to go through college ROTC [Reserve Officer's Training Camp] to become a 2LT/CO. Speacialist is a enlisted paygrade and college graduates become spealist if they enlist.



most likly there won't be a draft, our top generals and etc knows that the all volunteer stuff works. If we have people who don't want to fight and have to fight -- there will be alot of morale issues. Rape, Looting, all kinds of ---- happens. Plus it will degrade our Soldiers,Seaman,Airman, & Marines who worked really hard to get into the military and getting their pride and respect thrown out because the draft.


but if push comes to a shove -- join the US ARMY and ask to be with the 11thACR -- im in there boosting HMT style tanks.

This country post WW2 was intended to bring peace around the world through non-violent means. Bush wasn't willing to negotiate with Saddam, and while I agree he was a tyrant that needed to be stomped. How many of our soldiers (how many of my friends?) have died as a result? How many innocent Iraqi's have died?

If you're so ------- proud of this ---- go enlist your self and get yourself killed. You might also like to know that your chances of committing suicide because you realize ethically that what you are doing are wrong will increase... 1:15 soldiers in Iraq commits suicide post war and these are including the ones who RETURN home.

And the fact is, We had two choices. To take saddam out of power, or to leave him in. Leaving him in power would have been easy, but anytime you take a leader out of a country it isn't "the American way" to leave the people hanging. Now we're trying to give them stability, and everyones crying. You really think we could have taken saddam out and then told the people, "well, looks like you have to build something on your own?" Yeah, we don't work that way. And if we would have done it that way, the democrats would be crying about how we left the poor people with nothing.
