I agree that kid rocks.about the one guy saying his brother inlaw is better. When you have two people with musical talent like that you really can't rate one above the other. ::)
I could definatly here the satriani influance on going on. |

Um, yes you can DMC. There's arguments all the time about who the greatest guitarist alive is. Who do you think it is?
I'll try to get some footage or audio of Jordan playing... I know I have a CD of his somewhere here. |

Re: For you guitar fans. *bonus* 4 wheeler drifting!
yeah that kids pretty good.. i'd like to play with him.. plays similar to what i do on electric. i prefer playing a jazz/flamenco style myself.. on my classical guitar.. but i started out with classical, then went to playing neo classical /metal when i was in the marines.. he actually reminds me more of gary hoey style in the cannon..
i'd like to see him play the song in person technique looks ok, but the quality of video isnt the greatest. i wouldnt put him up with Joe Satriani or Steve vai or Michael Angelo, .. as far as greatest guitarist alive... thats a huge debate LOL.. you cant really say any ONE guitarist is the greatest.. each one has his strengths and weaknesses.. but of an all around guitarist.. Al Di Meola is probably "one of the best"... Jason Becker "was" one of the greatest till he got ALS :( the funny thing is most people rate the guitarists they know.. and in the style they like... so u hear alot of Joe Satriani, who is a great guitarist.. but anyone heard of John Williams.. a classical guitarist who has from time to time picked up electric guitars and rocked big time.. but no one ever hears of them cuz thats not the music they put out.. |

Re: For you guitar fans. *bonus* 4 wheeler drifting!
I am sure you have all seen chops from hell. Google it. It is all a bunch of technically amazing players.
The thing IMO, that makes a great player is not their technical cleanliness or anything. I can't stand mamlstein, he can shred, but it lacks an talent in writing or emotion. The kid can definately play though. |
