Sometime in the near future I'm looking to get a new car. One of my friends has a 97 hatch with a d16y8 swap into it that he'd give to me for 3,250. It needs a little work, but nothing big. I don't know if i'll be satisfied with that though.

For that same 3k you could have a nice 240sx. It's RWD and the stock motors have plenty of potential. Plus there's a ton of swaps you can do for them.

I would turbo either one so that isn't a question.
Any thoughts? Which one would you want? The biggest seller on the 240 is rwd, the hondas are lighter though and I already know hondas well which is nice. I don't want to get the civic and then want to get a new car like 3 months after I get it.

 

buy a rusty *** EF drop in a ZC and boost it. then spend the other $2k on hookers

 

... could.... probably not though... the 240's have more potential in their stock motors than a zc. can't argue with a 2.4

yea rwd is hella fun but civic's are realiable id go for the 240sx. is it a s13 or s14??
