Hard blue insulating foam from a home depot, or lowes works fairly well as a mold. Shape it with coarse sandpaper. Any foam should be covered in plastic unless you plan on using it as a part of the final product.

When i get home from work tomorrow i'll give you a mini write up plus part numbers. I did this bullshit for a year at my old job, and you dont need any kind of oven.

We used to make replacement cf pieces for our old skool Lola mk.2 indy car. The sheets have to be vaccum'd into shape and all that crap then baked in an extremely high temp oven for quite a while. Our oven was pretty much a gigantic autoclave.

it will melt away if you just pour some gas on it usually
