Working with carbon fiber.. I know someone has done it.

I want to make a home made solo seat cowl for my 99 R6.

I was thinking about using fiberglass, but by the time i get it all smooth and paint it I think it might be easier to work with carbon fiber.
Plus my tail is black anyways so it should fit in nicely.

I think i've seen a how to on carbon fiber somewhere around here. Anyone have any tips? Where to find it?

I made a carbon fiber condom, but turns out that once I used the resin, it turned into more of a didlo

i wont tell you that you definatly cant. but ive never heard of someone laying carbon fiber and cooking it in there own oven. that ---- has to be cooked for like a day or 2.

something like that except for a different bike and less edgy.

it replaces the passenger seat on the back of your bike.

There has to be a way besides an industrial oven to work with carbon fiber. I've seen a couple writeups floating around i just don't know where they are.

if you find one please let me know. cause theres some ---- i wouldnt mind doing. but im thinking its not real carbon fiber. more like a big ass carbon-fiber colored sticker that you stick on to something. i know that cheap as CF hoods are really fiberglass with that stuck on. thats why the one on my old car started fading on the corners

there's the thread I was looking for. Doesn't give much advice but at least gives me hope. any more input would be helpful.
