At 12" long its $25.00 is a good price, if we buy and cut it out is good, what ya think.

if you cant wait, homedepot or lowes in the plumbing section have decent couplers. if you have time to wait for shipping, get stealthmodes. they are recommended over the home-depot ones. (make the home depot ones tempary)
also, the home depot ones, the 2" to 2" are like 2.5" to 2.5" but you will shrink them down, just keep tighting tighting them down

I used the hose from napa.It held really good and I never had one blow off.It spretty cheap too.
Aks for gas filler hose. Its used on big diesels to go from the gas filler to the gas tank.It comes in diameters fro 2"-3".I think a foot is like $12 or so.You can get 4 couplings from a foot.

there is this local distributor here that sells all sorts of pipe and hydraulic fittings, its where I get all my oil line ----. They also have silicone 2.5 inch double thickness hose. it goes for about 13 bucks a foot canadian. you should be able to find a compareable deal locally.
this is the local place I was talking about http://www.greenlinehose.com/pulsar.htm
