The only way to prevent getting scammed is BE SMART WHEN YOU SHOP. If something sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Choose to not buy from people who have no vouches unless theres a local HMTEr willing to go kick their ***

i think it should b like honda-tech when u first sign up. your only a trial member at first then u become a full memember once u reach a certian quota. and all info should b stored in there profoil, is should b manditory. there's my 2 cents. thanks.

I've had 100 post nights, post count has nothing to do with how good a seller someone is. I've been scammed for over $1000 all from hmt met people. I talked on the phone to 2 of the 3 people that scammed me, I had their address, phone number, all that ----, and I still got robbed. you can protect yourself to a certain extent, vouches are huge. the 3 people that scammed me didn't have any real vouches, other people had bought from 2 of them with some success, and others were still waiting on parts. with anything you're taking a risk. I was younger when I got scammed, but if I were to get scammed now I would drive to wherever the scammer was and ---- them up, just fyi to all you scammers out there.

how about a deposit from vendors that will go to jeff and hee can hold it for as long as they are a vendor or a certian amount of time! someething to that nature if they rip someonee off then jeff can reimburse the person! something to that nature
