Apparently both types, Hitachi and Samsung, are being banned. I have one modded Samsung and one unmodded Hitachi so if ---- happens I'll be alright I guess.
So far I have only been playing Halo 2 online with an original game disc on the modded system, so I'm not sure if it only bans you when you use a backup online, or if I will eventually get banned just for having a modded firmware in the first place. I'll keep you guys posted, but as of now I haven't been banned yet.

Haha I was going to buy one on eBay to try and save a few bucks, but I think I am going to Fred Meyer in a little bit to pick one up lol.
Oh and I have those new maps, so if I bring you guys in as my guests will that let us all play on more than one map? That was kinda lame playing the same level.
I need to move my router also, so I don't have to run upstairs to get on HMT to talk to people I am playing Halo with haha.
