At JMU half of our bus drivers are students. Driving the bus is the best paying student job around here.

His wife pimps him hard. I've seen the aftermath, it isn't pretty.

I would hate to meet your customers our corvette customers are assholes and are very very picky for example there was a early 90's vette that came in and it was in decent shape it was an original yellow and had a few paint chips but all in all just another corvette but it was in because it did not run. well me and another guy were pushing it in and the owner walked up and asked where our gloves were and i just continued pushing and when we stopped he came over with his white cloth and wiped it off where we were pushing it. mind you there was nothing special about this car it was just a plain corvette that was taken pretty good care of. :S

You should respect the guy's car.

The problem with Corvette owner's attitudes is they expect top notch work from flatrate mechanics, which isn't going to happen. Porsche has Rob on salary for a reason - they don't want anyone who thinks like you working on their shittiest Boxster or most Soccer-mom'd out Cayenne, much less their high end stuff.

Not an attack on you, just be aware that other's expectations aren't the ones that have been drilled into your head by a mismanaged built-in-Mexico manufacturer of Cavaliers.

i deal with that sort of thing on a daily basis. i take grinders and saws to half million $$$ airplanes in front of customers on a daily basis. they hate to see it, but when they get their plane back and it looks like it never happend they are happy and dont act like that again. at least not towards me

I kill people for a living. Besides that, I like to eat orange chicken. I've also been known to dabble in the power sports industry working on:

Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Ski-doo, Acrtic Cat, Husqvarna, and various small engine manufacturers.

Good to see some fellow Virginians on here. And yea, +1 on the best paying part time job, plus I make my own schedule.

$3800 it had 64,000 orig. miles, no rust, cleanest pbody I have ever seen. rebuilt motor, new trans, mp stage 2 computer, flex fuel injectors, --------------- 6puck, boost cranked up, etc. I miss that car I really wish I hadn't have sold it, I got frustrated from it breaking constantly and when I finally fixed everything I sold it.
