Definately NOT a micro brewery. I do like their oatmeal stout, but it doesn't even come close to Rogue's stout lineup.

As far as whiskey goes. I'm a fan of Maker's Mark. I don't venture out much, and I don't have much experience with whiskey beyond Crown Royal and the other popular stuff. I really like Maker's though, so I usually get that if I am going to be drinking straight whiskey.

 

my old man got me on that when i turned 22... its not bad... he also got be to try jerimiah weed... its a 100 proof bourbon... and its hard to tell its 100 proof... its also a good mixing bourbon...

a lil strong for me but hey what do i know i rather a good ale over whiskey anyday...nothing like a good octoberfest to calm ya down...

 

Good beer, About $12 a pint bottle down here. Ages like wine, strong like vodka, and serves like a nice cognac. Swirl in the glass and it leaves thin legs. Not one for "TRAPPIST" ales but i like Chimay. TRAPPIST means it was brewed w/in the walls of a monastery by monks. Nice to see someone else knows bout it.




Notice its corked, It has a vintage stamp on the side of the cork too!

now that i think about it i think you are correct the next time i go to that store i will check
