the rmp stumble is due to the 5th and 6th port actuators not opening properly or not opening, or getting stuck open. i dont know the deal with those. also, they dont eat gas that much at all. the v8 will eat way more gas. also, they dont all flood. mine has flooded only once. and its pretty simply to get it started back up. they dont over heat. because they moment they do, your screwed. so if one overheats, might as well get a new engine. also, two stroke oil in them is the best thing to do because they are basically 2 stroke engines. o well. you just have to drive one. i thaught they where pieces untill i drove one. its suprised me.
also, how can you say no when you have to fix an apex seal and 2 houres later you got the car runing.
also, the main reason people breal their fc,s is cus they dont fucken take care of it. like putting synthetic or ---- in them. stupid fuckeing idea

Re: Whats up guys
In case anyone wasnt retarded enough to realize this, Mazda blessed the FC with the only injectors on the planet whose pintle leaks from the factory. IE if they sit, they flood.
Best solution is to upgrade to better injectors, but for us HMT folk, a fuel pump switch is a better idea. Switch off, clear the flood, switch on. Works every time. Ive started my FC in -15degrees before no problem.
The atf thing was a ------- myth started by HT-like retards who just happened to have a rotary. Any thicker weight oil will do the same thing.

sorry, but only idiots use atf to de flood an engine.
It's good for providing a seal on absolutely FUBAR apex seals and that's about it.

Just use regular or two-stroke oil if you need a bump in compression.

Just spend the 60 bucks and get them cleaned. Problem solved.

I'm pretty sure Rob had his in fairly new condition.
But yes, any higher weight oil will make a seal. If they're carbon-stuck you're not going to get that bitch cranking just by putting oil in it.
Long skinny flat head screwdriver ftw.

I have bought cars with "blown motors" that ended up just being locked up apexs. Put some Marvel mystery oil down the intake, let it sit a few days and bam, purs like a kitten. A kitten that smoked like a damn train. ATF is said to have the saim results. I never tried it, but know a few that have.

When I owned my FC, I had a better 'job' and was making quite a bit more money. The engine itself was built by a rotary guru by the name of Steve Osley. He's well known on the east coast. I had BRAND NEW INJECTORS!!! still in the box, as steve had a set laying around and I didnt have the power FC on the car at the time, I stuck the brand new stockers in. Guess what? leaky leaky. Also, I always ran the recessed trode plugs. Still flooded.

He was wise.
If you need them unstuck right away you can see if you can stick a screw driver down the spark plug hole and jiggle the seal free.
