Default Weird T3 Center Section Break

Hi everyone, so Ive rebuilt a few turbos but this is a new one to me. While taking off the exhaust turbine housing Ive managed to somehow break a piece off of the center section. I must add this exhaust housing was welded on like no other. But anyway i was wondering if anyone has had this happen before and what they did. Also if i were to continue the rebuild would their be consequences in the future? I just want to know if i turned this turbo into a paper weight, hope that's not the case. Thanks

If it can be clocked to someplace that works for you with that bit missing out of the flange - I'd button it up and run it like it is. That flange looks like it's mostly there to anchor the turbine housing.
