v8 random-strike type question :P
My dad has an 82 Camaro, w/ the 2.8l v6 on a 4spd manual.
The engine is becoming troublesome. Anyone know if a 305 bolts to that trans? Some pics of the car so you know what im talkin about. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg |

Re:v8 random-strike type question :P
ya ya.. i guess this is a 'tech' question... but it has nothing relevant to what is the 'norm' at HMT.. so I thought a broader audiance would be better.. o well.
keep the answers coming. I want multiple "it does/doesn't" |

He'll only get a 350 stock, if a 305 isnt much cheaper. he's just going to get a rebuilt motor, stock specs. |

Re:v8 random-strike type question :P
That's dope. I'd look at how much a shop wants to charge for a rebuilt 350. You can get them from like Jeg's or Summit for like 1600 bucks. A basic 350 will be a lot of fun.

Re:v8 random-strike type question :P
I know for sure it bolts in. Almost all chevy engines/transmissions are compatible. You could throw in a straight 6 from the 70's or a mid 90's 350, either way the mounts and tranny should match.
