Re: Uh oh.....
A) You said something about GT42R, which is the GT35R's fat homo butt buddy. I'm not familiar with the Precision model number for whatever Garret turbo they've rebadged, but I'd probably go with T67, either stage 5 .84 AR T3 or P-trim .58 AR T4 hotside. Compressor can vary up or down a little, but that's about where you need to be on the hotside for a nice ~3000 rpm spool with awesome powerband on a streetable H22.
B) You need B or D transmission, there is no way the F/H tran can hold the power AND any amount of abuse unless there are custom gearsets involved that cost more than a B/D conversion.
C) ---- your shift ****, looks 90-93 RS/LS leatherette. I can send you a real shift **** off a real car if you want.
D) Stock is fine, I was just teasing, but if you have any teething problems with oil pressure the pumps consume themselves quick. Unless you have a crank scraper fitted, there is so much oil flying around in the crankcase during operation that the oil squirters are freaking useless.
Seriously, H's are complex setups. Engines are robust but they still have their little quirks, all fixable but it's more stuff to fool with, weak transmissions, etc. I'd stick to a D or B out of personal preferrence, but a well set up H makes immediate power and torque and maintains it for a broad powerband where it's peakier little brothers can't. Your car should be freaking easy to drive, loads of fun, and eat technically faster ---- that is hard to drive and all over the place.
