You're ------- stupid, and you obviously have no idea how the laws work. Its not entrapment unless you are provoked.

Maybe I was, he was mentally telling me to go faster towards the sign

Oh well, hopefully I can just plead not guilty, says what Ive pointed out in this thread

If he doesnt show I get off right?

And if he does maybe they will knock it down or forget it since its my first/second lol

You have two SERIOUS problems.

#1 - You admitted to the first of going "just under 100 back there" - NAILED...as soon as you admit, you are done. Usually they give you just under what you admit to in hopes of you pleading not guilty thinking you got away with a favor. Your fucked on the first ticket

#2 - You got two tickets in a matter of 20 mintues...even if the second ticket is bullshit, the judge is going to see TWO cops in the courtroom that day both telling him they caught you speeding...that looks BAD in his eye.

Get a Lawyer...plain and simple. Because you are fighting two tickets at once (are they both the same court date?) you might be able to get the lawyer to reduce his rate. You will save on insurance in the long run and possibly cut the points to 0 for both infractions. You cant afford to start your driving career this way.

Slow down, especially at night when they can hide easier. And of course they can hide...its not entrapment (dumbass whoever said that)

A few more tips for you youngins...

#1 - Whenever you get pulled over, especially at night...always turn on the dome light IMMEDIATELY, roll down your window and put both hands out the window and cross them. Or put the on the steering wheel and cross them so the cop can see them. If you are rummaging in your glove box...who the ---- knows what you are gonna pull out and shoot him with. You want the cop relaxed and easy when he comes to your window. That tip will get you out of most minor infractions and speeding violations, 9 outta 10 times.

#2 - NEVER admit you did anything wrong, be confident in your response when he asks a question. "Do you know how fast you were going?" ANSWER - "Sir, I was going the speed limit. I know because when I saw you on the side of the road, I instinctually looked at my speedometer and I saw I was going X mph." If you were going some ridiculously higher amount over the limit dont say that, just say I dont know.

#3 - Have ALL your documents ready in the glove box. When he asks for them, ASK him if you can reach in the glove box, easily pull them out and hand them to him in one stroke. Why this is good? He sees you are organized, cop respects you more...you are efficient and you are wasting less of his time.

...there is more but you get the picture.

BTW, I have no points on my license and my insurance in NJ (highest rates in the country) is $1200 a year for two cars. :)

Thanks for typing that Chris

I was just told by a few people I may get off on them by technicality

The X's instead of checks are apparently all it takes to void a ticket, so boom there goes the 109 - 80

And the second one he forget to fill out a Code box where the other ticket had an R in it but I havent found out what that means

Ill be prepared, I just needed to chill and got caught in a bad state of mind

Ah you believed it :). I got a ticket street racing you know what the speed was 35 mph+ ya thats right what was my fine 650 and 2 points on my record for 7 years. Doesnt matter how the ticket was filled out unless its just a mess. If its anything like the states its being processed into actual data the paper ticket is for your own personal knowing you fucked up. good luck but you were speeding. I have my share of tickets 5 acatually there is only one way to get out of them dont speed. WOT if I was the cop I would of given you a dui ;D

You do realize that they do have the information of what you should have been ticketed for. They have given you a break and fighting those tickets is like a slap in the face to them. You aren't going to get another break in court, you could actually hurt yourself. My friend got a break and tried to fight it and ended up getting the original fine and points. Your little X in the check boxes theory is no good either.

Seriously? the court will know that I was actually going WAY fasted than what was ticketed for?

That will hurt me or sure because he dropped it ALOT for the first one

The second one I can get off on though and apparently the first one a few people have said because the code box is left blank itll be chucked as well
