why is it that hondas go to one extreme or the other, all hp, or all tq. damnit, make one thats balanced already...

Hondas been making a lot of K-car/small car/sedans with turbo diesel.
i guess it`s the emission/lemon law/all these stupid lttle *** law that keep those car from coming in to the US.

After the Olds 350 diesel fiasco of the mid-80's, nobody felt comfortable making a passenger car diesel there for a while. Merc/BMW/VW are starting to, but it's a minute off before it catches on again, if it does catch on.

You have to understand, our generation is not the one that buys cars, 75% of the money is in the hands of the baby boomers age 50-70 or so. Marketing/design blunders of 20 years ago are still relevant in old, fossilized, conservative minds; despite technological advances and stuff and things.
