99.9% of cell phone service providers don't report positive credit. If you don't pay them they will report it, but they won't report your timely payments.

It's not about spending more than you have. Credit is waht makes the world go round. You can't do ---- without credit unless you have bundles of cash and most of us don't. When you're older you'll be kicking yoursle fin the ass for not building your credit. Try to buy a house with no credit. Sure, you might get the loan, but that interest rate is going to cost you THOUSANDS of dollars over the term of your home loan.

Plus, credit cards are good for emergencies. What happens if you get sick and can't go to work for a coupel days or even a week? It would be nice to have a credit card to go buy groceries with and pay them back in a few weeks when you get your next paycheck from work. Try shopping online without a credit card. How do you pay? Mail a check? That's gay and slow and just old school. Credit cards are very handy and as long as you're smart with them and don't go overboard they will be very good to you.

www.creditboards.com will teach you more about credit than you will ever need to know.

Yea thanks boost. I'm not really in it to spend spend spend, I just want to maybe rack up 100 dollars a month on whatever and pay it back in good time. That is how you get credit

Just don't get crazy. It's VERY EASY to get carried away with credit cards. Most merchants accept credit cards because it's such an easy way to spend money and research has shown that consumers are much more comfortable spending more money with a credit card than they are with cash.....because it's not cash and it's not coming directly out of their pockets.

I had handfuls of credit cards when I was younger and did so well with them for the longest time. They just kept giving me credit limit increases over and over and I got more comfortable reaching the spending limits.....then I started modding cars.....then I fucked myself. :1 $17,000 later I cut my losses. :l Now I rock one credit card with a low limit and use it as wisely as I can.
