The only thing that makes your car worth any money at all is the engine. Take that out and it's a $300-500 shell. Period. I don't see where you guys get off thinking that this car is worth $4500 or something...because other than the motor there's nothing special about it. It even has a Maaco paint job.

It's a nice CRX and he'd have no trouble selling it for $2000-2500, and honestly your car isn't worth a whole lot more than that...especially since your motor has been opened up and modified. I don't care how professional or how much to spec the work was done, it's been fucked with and that always reduces value. The only way you could use it as a selling point is if it still had the turbo. Now it's just a beat ass N/A motor that was turbo.

Now if it were me, I don't think I'd trade him straight up either, I'd have to get some cash out of him. But as far as shells go, HIS shell is worth more than yours, in my eyes atleast. I never did like EG's.

that is the EF of EF's as far as weight goes: the 89 HF -- the seatbelts are NOT in the door, as they are for 90 and 91, and it isn't the 88, with the weird rear trailing arms. so, i think you should make the trade, but keep your engine, and i will sell you a decent used b-series mount kit for $55 shipped

lol

CRX is older, with more body damage, with a less superior engine that wasnt just recently rebuilt... :1

But CRX > Civics of any year.I would trade but ask for at least 500 on top though as it isnt stock. If it were a nice clean minty stock CRX then I would say trade it straight across.

to keep the coupe and take some more weight off is better than that crx...remember crx parts are getting crazy expensive
