Is this trade worth it or not? 94 si B16A for 89 HF DOHC ZC
A few weeks ago I made an ad explaining that I am looking for a lighter shell and that I would like either a clean eg hatch or CRX but I would like to keep my B16/GSR tranny
Recently some local messeged me and asked if I want to do a straight up trade for his CRX HF with DOHC ZC swapped in to it already, last 5 years it did not see a single winter, has aftermarket alarms on it pretty much comes the way you see it in the pic...there is a small surface rust spot by the gas door, 1/4's were never worked on or replaced.
here is a pic, from what I know its a completely stock ZC nothing done engine wise.
Now here is my car 94 coupe B16A/GSR tranny, ARP head studs, Cometic head gasket and integra rear disk brakes, manual steering rack from a 92 cx hatch and AC removed.
NOTE: My car is no longer turbo, I wouldnt be stupid enough to trade it if it was.
So how much money should I ask for? I would really like this HF, but if I'm gonna have to repaint it and build it up I want to at least make a few extra bux on top of the trade.
Let me konw guys, I'm really not sure what to do, I like my coupe but I wouldnt mind an HF mostly for its really light chassis, if I built this thing up it would be stupid fast.

Yeah that is what I'm thinking, still hard to tell the only benefit of his car on mine is weight, but I shaved so much off already on my car, I got rid of maybe 150 lbs by removing the PS system and AC system, if I get these wiseco pistons cheap all I"ll have to do is get TT rods and then I will have everything I need to do a forged build.

tell him either straight up trade and you swap engines. or trade and he gives you extra cash. depending on how much you were trying to sell it. subtract what you think his cars worth.

Pros of the CRX: it looks like it's an 88
Cons of the CRX: Your car is MUCH cleaner. The CRX has a door ding with a dinged up molding along with a soopa jDM slant fart can. Looks like he thinks he's dippin' hard in that car with the above mods, rims, and tint.
If you trade, you would need some SERIOUS cash on top of it.

Not a bad trade, and the ZC is old skool love. I dont know why honda didnt bring them to the markey with a turbo already attached.
Your car looks pretty dam clean and his looks pretty dam nice as well. However under the hood is an apple to orange comparison. Id ask for $500-$800 from his end plus the car. Even if your interested in a straight up trade, id still shoot for it. I dont think I would straight up trade him though.

Thanks for the opinions guys, I dont think I'll do the trade, he wants to do a straight up trade but I dont, I prefer to keep my engine, and I dont really give a ---- about the weight of his car since next summer I'll have that coupe at around 2000lbs
Only way I'd trade is if we got to swap engines and he bought me a EF B series mounting kit which I think is fair since he's trading me a shell from 89 for a clean 94 coupe with rear disks.
I dont really mind the door ding on his car, my car is not perfect either, what you cant see in the pic is stone chips along the hood and front bumper, and some very fine lines on the roof under the paint that you can barly notice (shitty maaco people dont know how to put on sealer) other than that I'm rust free and have a perfect underbody, he is hesitant to take pictures of his so there may be a rust spot or 2 on the frame...I used to have a CRX, they like to rust along the foot well.
