wtf are you talking about budget? you need traction bars? you need to stay alive? BUY THE FULL RACE BARS... not a hard choice, sure you will be eating cup a noodles for a couple weeks, but it aint too bad...
on an EF/CRX you NEED TO HAVE A SOLID TRACTION BAR SETUP or stock crossmemeber with good bushings PERIOD. its part of the suspension/chassis, its not something to be ------- around with. if that ---- breaks there is nothing holding the LCA in place!!!!! it will move back and hit the fender and ---- ---- UP...

I like my Z10 Engineering bars (they make EF bars as well...I have always thought about starting a Group Buy on them)...
They dont hand low like the other EF bars out there and they are a 2 bar (stiff) design with two mounting points (tow hooks & cross member with SOLID caster adjustment.
Too bad you can never get Z10 on the phone when you call them

Wow you guys are really late on this... I was preaching about the hardware a long while ago. when I snapped bolts on both sides at different times.

could it be fixed by welding a loop back to the other mounting hole on the LCA? then you would have 2 grade 8 bolts to hold it together...

Has anyone else had any real problems with them, other than Noel?
I do think its shitty if they continued to knowingly sell defective products, that just shows no respect for your customers

no you shouldnt play with your life or the lives of others. cars can be replaced but you unfortunatly cannot. have a recall and fix the design!!!!!

I made traction bars for EG's for a while. Just like the Lakewoods ones. I looked into the EF style bars. I even made a set for my own CRX and took them off because I didnt feel they were safe enough. The best bet is a one piece machined saddle mount that uses the 2 mounting holes and a larger heim joint. I made a prototype a while back but I didnt feel comfortable putting something out I couldn't really quality test. If one of my manifolds crack it's not going to kill anyone. I couldn't live with myself if I build something structural and someone got hurt from it or worse.
