Re: Traction bars...Brands/opinions/experience
I have LSD traction bars on my 94 coupe, they hold up to pretty much everything, I railed the ground with them really hard one time at about 40mph and all I got was a lousy scratch on the paint.

Wrapping the tabs around the bar is doable. Time to pull out my die bender and get to work.
As for a 5/8 Hiem. The load rating between 1/2" and 5/8" is minimal. 1000lbs or so out of 17,000lbs. Also factory Rods are M12. Just a hair under 1/2".

the bars i made for the racecar only have rod ends on the front. were the lca mount is, is solid yes not nearly as convienent to adjust but the extra few minutes it take to unbolt the front of the rod and turn it a few times is well worth the added stregth.

Re: Traction bars...Brands/opinions/experience
Was this only a problem on the EF bars?
All I can say is this -
I bought a J-K traction bar from Mike. The thing bolted up perfectly, and I even used it as a jacking point on the car. Held up just fine
