u broke the tap inside the steel?? ouch!

u aint gonna be able to drill that, or tap it since its harder then steel.

can u weld something to it?

next time make sure u drill the right sized hole for the tap

yeah i tried welding a bolt to it and i snapped the head off the bolt, i tried heating it up with the tig and then blowing it with the compressor but that didnt work too well. I would have used the torch but the bottles are empty. Its fucked so i just left it. For next time how much smaller should the drill bit be than the tap?

It should be stamped on the side of the tap what size drill to use. All of mine are, but if the ones you are using are hardware store brand it may not be on there.
