is there anyway that i can install the oil line w/o removing the oil pan? i stripped out a bolt so i cant get my flywheel heatshield off to reach a bolt on the oil pan.

you can drill and tap and weld it while the pan is still on the car. thats not why people take it off. they take it off to clean out the metal shavings from the drilling/tapping process.. and u dont want those mix w/ oil!

Find a way to take it off, drill out that flywheel heat sheilf thing and re-tap it or something.

trust me it is way easier to just take off the oil pan and drill the hole. You will have a much cleaner hole and you can place it so much easier. It is really easier to just take it off. Don;t mess up and do it wrong the first timne.

u get metal shavings in there it could spell the end for your motor..

good luck getting that little stud out..

try putting a socket on it and a small flathead to pry it down to create some pressure.
