Its a extended t handle type deal...the owner of the shop i used to work for had to buy it from the VW place. if you look on the manifold, you see where there is a small hole bored out between the runners for you to get the hex key thru there and undo the bolts. nothing else works that ive seen for that ----. Thats the quickest and easiest way to get those fuckers out, you cant get any tool down to or around those plugs. In the older versions, yes, like the 96 body style cars, but in the new ones, not happening. Show me then I will believe you, but I've done quite a few new beetles and jettas and the all were the same way. Hell they're the same motors between the 1.8's, 1.8t. 1.9 and 2.0. the v6, you dont have to take ---- loose but the engine covers iirc. Most of the V Dubs that came through our shop was 4 bangers. I will say that the die-slow version is a hella lot better built than the gas version, only major problem I ran into on those was the wastegates ------- up on the turbo's, had like 2 jettas that wouldnt build boost due to stuck open wastegates. talk about no power.

1.8t doesn't have the manifold on top of the engine. :l

Corrado G60 > every other fuel-injected VW. If you don't like SC's, remove it and slap a turbo on, the thing's already made to be boosted. And they look slick.

My fav vw ever made = corrado

It kind of reminds me of another car that was produced in the mid 80s. I just can't put my finger on it though.....

Oh wait! It's my fav honda... it was a crx.

Did you just compare the CRX to a Corrado? :l

G60 is the largest mistake VW ever made. Although when it worked, it worked well :)

Nonsense, the only real problems they had were leaky blowers at 75k, which is about when blowers need to be rebuilt anyway. That and hot weather performance sucked. 16v head swap and you're golden.
