new bearings
new belts
new rings
head gaket
type r pistons
type r valve train
type r cams

professionally chipped/tuned ECU (with 8800-8900rpm redline)
B16 tranny just installed – shifts like butter, no grinds at all.
peak 4 to 1 header

Exterior:

New Championship white paint (bumper was poorly done and was touched up with spray paint so it will need to be re-done)
JDM front end (one headlight scratched as it came from junk yard in japan)
Type R wing
20% window tint

JDM honda badges

Interior/electronics:

Black leather seats swapped in (kinda hard to the touch around seat bottom but look good)
Chrome shift knob
Audiovox alarm
Ignition/kill switch
Pioneer mp3 deck

I just got this car maybe 2 months ago and put a lot of my own mods on but I don’t think I really like driving an integra. It runs well and pulls hard. I have beat a real type r and that was before the b16 tranny too. only thing is it has a ticking sound from the engine (not sure where) I just got the valves adjusted so I don’t know what it is. Injectors, or exhaust leak maybe? I bought it with all the engine/body work done to it. a friend owned it before me and her fiancée owns a performance shop (zerolift) so that’s where all the work was done, not some kids garage. I have listed all the things wrong with it, seems like more then it actually is, the car is in good shape and looks great!

i think k swaps are way overrated. you could have a pretty serious built b for that kind of money

so overhyped?

RedCavz 11-22-2007 06:04 PM

Re: Swapped shitvic

---- that. that swap looks kinda half-assed anyway. plus that teg is sex on wheels. i'm in love.

MikeJ-2009 11-22-2007 06:47 PM

Re: Swapped shitvic

I'd get the red homo wheels off the integra and keep that. Ek's are nasty, and so are k swaps.

Eh keep the TDI best gas mileage.
K-Swaps are way over hyped anyway.

Scott-EP 11-22-2007 07:49 PM

Re: Swapped shitvic

if you trade a 00 tdi for that you are a retard. the way gas prices are going you win by having that.

Re: Swapped shitvic

I'd trade the tdi for the gsr and keep it. ---- that civic rust bucket. You'd have to be nuts to trade a nice teg like that for a rusty old civic with a ------ dumb K swap.

That's a nice Integra.

buk9tp 11-22-2007 08:51 PM

I love teh JDM integra. Is the most worth-the-money JDM parts in existence.

you ever heard, FAKLAD? (or FAKLAB?)

Keep the teg man. I would personally love to have an EK hatch, but not one that had rust and a possibly half assed K swap.

Pretty sure a 97 is a Mk3.

But, yeah that would be funny if that's what he actually meant.

What JD really meant to say was trade the B series VTEC faggotry for the all mighty K series.

I had a mk3 for awhile, seats are very uncomfortable, weird driving posistion. It was nice on the highway though and had good torque for around town. mk2 vr6 is the business when it comes to VW's as long as you get the tranny situation sorted out.

No, I read the first post and got bored by the 1001 insipid responses to a question so stupid it shouldn't have to be asked in the first place. I quoted 13th's sentiment and was too disgusted to add to it, sent it to the bitbucket.

FYI, Hitchhikkr texted me the other day that of the 9 broken TDIs currently residing at the dealership 6 of them have clogged injectors/burnt up pumps and sporting bio-diesel stickers. VW owners = engineered failure. :P

only problem i have had with it is a glow plug, as long as you do the maintaince like cleaning the intake and egr ---- it will last long. I was running bio diesel for a while getting a steady 57-62mpg. you have to slowly introduce biodiesel to these cars or you clog up the injector pump and fuel filters.

This is the ------mobile buk saw, but i don't have it anymore

Re: Swapped shitvic

Slowly introduce or they clog? That's ignorant. Either the fuel is filtered and unadulterated or it isn't.
