Were broke because were in school, and most of us are about 17-23 ::) lots of 17-23 year olds made 50 grand a year and can buy lexuses and throw 5k dollar superchargers on them :l.... Why don't you use your education and stop judging people on a fourm about turbos...


and what do you want to discus about turbochargers? (Alternately known as turbine driven centrifugal superchargers).. Have anything specific in mind? most of its been covered. If were talking about cars we talk about a specific set up. Lextreme has some cool ---- on it. It's a combination of people doing ground up builds, swapping the alloy v8 into everything from AE86s, to yota landcruisers, to cobra replicas, to boats, to airplanes. There are some really knowledgeable, talented people on the boards, and some inspiring projects. The aussies are just out of hand. They do not ---- around when it comes to building cars.

Then you got the guys that have a bone stock sc400, overweight slushbox old lady country club car, with an intake and 18"s, that spend all their times making posts like "what do I need to do to beat a Z06?" "How much HP am I making?" I think you can guess which category Jibby falls into.

Higher intake ratios make for good chamber scavenging. A turbo blocks the exhaust, and creates a higher exhaust pressure ratio, in turn contaminating the clean intake charge. I really don't care about what a engine will put down on a dyno, but instead the best combustion cycle.
